I purchased this for use in the bedroom because of the compact size. The t.v. was easy to set up and had a nice appearence. The problems are that the sound is terrible and the picture quality is sub standard. I do not recommend this set, spend a little more and get a better sound and picture quality unit. i returned this item.

Bought the set from Costco - overall I would be quite happy if it did not have a loud buzz - Since it is in a small bedroom and used mainly at bedtime it sounds very loud and annoying. I intend to return it and exchange for the same model. Good price and thankfully Costco has a great return policy. I bought this TV because it was my responsibility to bring one to my dorm room. I've mainly used it to watch tv and play video games. Everything is nice, i haven't had problems with it. The sound quality is what you'd expect from a tv though... not very rich. I use my speaker system instead. Overall, far exceeded my expectations.

I Bought the Samsung LN19A450 last year for the den and loved it, bought the LN22A450 for the master bedroom because I was so pleased with the 19 inch. The picture is great, sound is ok, very easy setup, remote is not layed out for easy one hand use (I use the Direct TV remote and this is not a problem for me) and the set has enough inputs so I can use it for my dish, rabbit ears and computer all at the same time.

I originally purchased this monitor as an external monitor for a MacBook Pro, but I am now also using it daily as an HDTV. As a computer monitor, it is not quite as crisp and sharp as the MacBook's LCD, but that is not surprising, due to the extremely high quality of Apple LCDs. Likely the only way to match the quality of the MacBook LCD is to purchase an Apple Cinema Display ($$$).



As a computer monitor, I have been very happy (using DVI connection).



As a bonus, this monitor included a built-in HDTV tuner, so I plugged in some old rabbit ears and started watching OTA HDTV. Wow!



The speakers are a bit weak, so I sometimes plug in my external computer speakers to the TV's headphones jack.



Because I was enjoying the HDTV so much, I finally connected a DirecTV HD DVR (HR22) to this TV, and now it can get all of my channels, not just OTA. The DVR connects via HDMI, and the quality is excellent.



This TV's remote is also nice and simple and easy to use.



The onscreen menus are crisp and easy to understand.



I really only have 2 complaints about this monitor: (1) speakers are weak (but to be expected in a monitor this small), and (2) it attracts dust like crazy!



I highly recommend this monitor either as a computer monitor or an HDTV - or both!



Update: it's been about 3 months since my original review, so this is just a follow-up post confirming that I am still highly impressed with this monitor, and friends and family have even commented how crisp it is (for HDTV viewing). Also, if you have a problem with the weak speakers, you can just plug in your computer speakers to the monitor. When I am using it to watch TV, I just disconnect my speakers from my MacBook Pro and plug them into the monitor. Late at night, then the TV speakers are fine.

As show in Title, we bought a (described) New TV in an unopened manufacturer's box that had been damaged(box).



Upon delivery, the shipping/packing box was broken open, flimsy, not marked fragile or handle with care with little padding.



TV manufacturer's outer box had dents as we knew; however interior sealed plastic bag holding peripheral connections was opened and serial numbers seemed not to match.



Nor was there a manual. We had to use a manual from a different TV to get going. And having little electronics expertise really need a manual to set-up DVD, computer, cable, etc.



BUT THE REAL PROBLEM IS that the Seller did not answer our email.



We would prefer to pay the $35 difference for same model New from Amazon and have the peace of mind and guarantee.



I would not buy from Seller again. As reliability and communication would easily had resolved any problems or questions.

Magnificent quality picture. Easy to program for TV and hook up to indoor antenna. Purchased Terk HDTVa amplified indoor antenna from Amazon with this Samsung T200HD 20-inch Touch of Color LCD HDTV Widescreen Monitor, followed the set up instructions programmed into the T200HD, and voila, got 20 over the air picture perfect free-of-charge local HD broadcast signals. The T200HD has a built-in antenna strength signal meter which is easily accessible from the menu button on the remote control handset. Highly recommend this TV/monitor. Now, I can watch football in the spare bedroom while my lovely wife watches the big screen elsewhere. Get this Samsung, or the bigger one if your budget allows. The aforementioned signal meter makes antenna alignment easy by taking the guesswork out of positioning. Also, highly recommend the Terk indoor amplified antenna that everybody gives rave reviews. Chose this mount through the reviews. I understood the drawbacks stated in the reviews, heavy, requiring 2 people to hang, 16-on-center beams, etc. All of these are quite minor compared to the great quality and value of this product. I had this mounted (my wife helped me hold up to get the first bolt in) in about 25 minutes. Love the versatile movement on this mount with my 42" TV. I would definitely both this for a second TV.

I bought this wall mount because it was the cheapest and most solid looking mount I could find. I used it to mount my 42inch Samsung Plasma. It takes two people and some tools to get this thing setup but once the work is done you will be satisfied. It looks great, feels solid, and it allows you to move your tv up, down, left, right, forwards, and backwards. I wish it could tilt up and down a few extra degrees but otherwise its a great mount. Bottom line, best mount you can find for the price for flat tv's 40inch and up.

This wall mount is perfect. I mounted my 42" LG TV that weighs 75 Lbs. The mount went up in 30 minutes using only the hardware included. The mount is secure and I feel more than safe with my $1200 TV on it. I saved a lot of money by going with this mount and you should do the same!!!

As others have said, this thing is most definitely heavy. It's possible to take the mount apart so that you can only deal with the wall plate but since I had my roommate help me, I didn't bother with that.



Mounting this was a nightmare but only because my stud finder is crap. I borrowed two other stud finders and they all gave me different readings- it really got frustrating. Also, my apartment doesn't have the standard 16 inch or 24 inch gap between studs. The two studs I eventually found were 14 inches center to center. Luckily the wall mount has multiple slots for the bolts. Once I had the holes drilled, the rest was a breeze.



Others have complained about the instructions but I didn't see a big issue there- the diagrams show pretty much everything you need to do.



I used 2 levels and found that TV-side plate was off by a good 10-15 degrees. Luckily, the designers put 5 hex screws that allow you to adjust the tilt.



Unfortunately due the stud issues I was not able to mount this in the center of my wall. But I was able to move the arms to right and hang the TV right of center on the mount- those combined centered it. Now, I'm hanging a 46 inch LCD HDTV on it and have noticed no sagging.



The mount is very stiff, hard to move. But I see this as a plus since it makes it seem more sturdy.

I am very pleased with this product. I ordered two to hang matching Phillips 47' LCD's next to each other in our living room. They arrived in 5-7 days and were in perfect condition, nothing damaged or missing. They each weight about 30-35 lbs and have been holding up my 45 lbs TV's with no problems for a couple weeks now.



I got the articulated mounts so we would have the options they give. Only one of them is pulled a couple inches out and angled. I haven't noticed any sagging or other problems. We haven't been pulling it far from the wall, so I haven't tested them in that fashion.



They were pretty simple to put up. All you need is a drill, drill bits and a ratchting wrench set or an old style wrench set it you like working harder and screw drivers. If you have the right size attachment for you drill, you could fly through it. I put the mounts up myself, but had my wife help me put the TV's on the mount just to be safe. Also, it has a level on the item, but I still used my own. I don't trust those tiny levels.



The mounts were a lot cheaper than those I saw at Sam's Club ($160) and Best Buy, which were even more and went up to 400-500 each.



I was a hard choice for me between the Cheetah mount that is similar to this one, but I think I made the right one.
